Millions of Christians in the Middle East suffer for simply living out their faith.

Brother Joseph received church planter training through Bible League. Upon his arrival in one remote area, he was warned: "If you continue teaching here, you could find yourself dead."

Joseph trusts God in the face of this danger as he gathers very small groups of people in discreet, varying locations.

Another Bible League partner in the Middle East shared this experience:

"There were 24 people gathered. No songs were allowed and we prayed very quietly. I had to speak with low voice. One young man put his face down and cried; he explained how many questions he had. 'But today,' he said, 'I found the answer and I am ready to take Jesus as my Friend.'

"Everyone was happy since they know his past. I stayed with them until midnight, talking, learning and sharing."

Despite the dangers, Bible League workers in the Middle East placed 730,020 Scriptures and established 254 new churches.
