Her brother dislocated her jawbone during a severe beating and Esther was forced to leave her parents' home. Her mother once poured kerosene over Esther and tried to set her on fire. A Bible League-trained Christian in one Muslim region established three new churches through Bible study. This man was arrested and put on trial. But amazingly, the court permitted him to continue his ministry after hearing his convicting testimony.

In 2004, Bible League placed 2,002,442 Scriptures into the hands of people desperate for God's Word. Praise God that 23,225 people were discipled into church membership.
