Many Christians living in Muslim nations see persecution as a part of everyday life. And yet the Gospel continues to go out and win many more for the Kingdom of God. Whilst sharing the Word is not easy in these countries, we have an incredible opportunity right now to change the lives of many living in Muslim nations.

We are so grateful that last year, with your help, we were able to impact the lives of more than 75,000 Muslims and introduce them to Christ. In addition to this, you were a part of training 203 Philips and 154 Bible-based Literacy Facilitators.

This year we believe that God is calling us to do even more. Why do I say this? The level of persecution against Christians is increasing and many more brothers and sisters lost their lives for their faith in 2016. With the growing number of trained Islamic terrorists, corrupt governments and the constant threat of unrest and civil wars, the time for God’s Word to show its power in the Muslim nations is NOW!

Persecution, Poverty, Slavery…nothing will stop Christians from sharing their Faith  in the one true God…

Nafrini* is a 65 years old Muslim lady who, because of poverty and like many others from her nation, travelled to a country on the Arabian Peninsula to work as a maid for a wealthy family. “I was mistreated and abused in many ways. It was hell and I was like a slave,” she described. “So, I decided after a lot of struggling to go back to my own country.”

After a lot of pleading with the family where she worked, they reluctantly gave her back her passport and she was able to leave. On her return, she managed to get work with a Christian family. “I was amazed at how kind and merciful they were with me. In spite of our different religions, they treated me as a sister,” Nafrini explained.

“Afterwards, I found a job as a janitress in a Christian hospital, where I also was treated equally and graciously. Then one day everything changed, I saw Christ in a dream and it didn’t happen just once! I cried and cried and I knew I had to give my life to God and He would free me from everything that was holding me captive for so long.”

Nafrini had been visiting a Christian book store, that works with Bible League as a ministry partner in her country. She asked the owner a lot of questions about God and he patiently answered every question. Once she received her own salvation, she went on to volunteer to secretly take more Bibles and share her faith with her Muslim friends. It is not easy ministering in a country which persecutes Christians, but Nafrini knows there are millions more Muslims who need to hear of the one, true God! She says: “I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and I want to get it out so many more can discover the truth!”

Most believers in Muslim nations do not have a Bible of their own and the difficulty of getting Bibles into these regions is increasing every day. There is an opening right now to get another shipment in, but circumstances can change very quickly when working in these nations.

Yet, you and I know the power of God’s Word to transform a life… like Nafrini’s.

Yet, you and I know the power of God’s Word to transform a life… like Nafrini’s.

Today, your gift of just £3.20 can help place an Arabic Bible into the waiting hands of someone like Nafrini. Your gift of £9.60 can provide Bibles for three people. And a gift of £30 will mean ten people will have their very own copy of God’s Word.

There is no more powerful way to transform Muslim nations than with God’s Word. So I pray you will give generously today to help bring the Light of God’s Truth to many living in Muslim nations.

Change a life and you begin to change a nation. But the need is great. Bible League has committed to meet the immediate need for 25,145 Bibles.

With your help and urgent response together we can do it!
