o you remember the LAST time you read the Bible and heard God speaking to you? Was it today? Yesterday?
Now, for the FIRST time, the 200,000 Huasteca Nahuatl (pronounced Was-te-ca Nah What-l) people of south-eastern Mexico can "hear" God speaking directly to them.
Generations of Huasteca Nahuatl have died without hearing the words of Jesus. After years of translation efforts by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Bible League printed this important new translation of the Bible in year 2006.
The Huasteca Nahuatl people have minimal contact with the industrialised world, living by superstitions, without a Bible in a language they understand best.
“When I hear God talks in another tongue, it is good. When I hear it in my own tongue, it is very good for it spears my inside,” says a Christian who received God’s Word for the first time.
Please pray that the many people groups still without God’s Word in their heart language will soon receive their important Bible translation. Pray also that those who will receive the Bibles will share their faith with friends and family.
